SALEM - Memorial services will be held Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church for Martha R. Standley, 82, who died Thursday evening at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
Martha was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Marian (Morgan) Boldt.
She was a graduate of the Youngstown Hospital Association School of Nursing and had worked as a Registered Nurse at the Department of Surgery of Youngstown Northside Hospital for over 43 years before retiring. After retiring, she spent much of her time volunteering with several organizations, including Friends of the Library.
She was a longtime member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dale, of 57 years; her daughter, Marsha Osborn of Madison, Ala.; son Dale H. Standley Jr. of Salem; and six grandchildren.
