Mark Mcallister

AUSTINTOWN - A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Mr. Mark S. McAllister, 55, who died Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

He was born on Aug. 3, 1959, in Youngstown, a son of Albert and Alberta Smith McAllister.

Mark had worked for a number of years for the Federal Management Co. in the maintenance department.

He was a gun collector and a member of the NRA and enjoyed all sports, but his greatest enjoyment was watching his sons play sports and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mark leaves his parents, Albert and Alberta of Youngstown; son Christopher McAllister and fiance Canda Johnson of Austintown; three sisters, Gayle (Ed) Zupko of Hubbard, Karen (Randy) Rutushin of Salem and Kim Mancino of Youngstown; brother Greg (Rhonda) of Austintown; three grandchildren, Caden, Zahne and Danica McAllister; and good friends, Chuck Riley and Joy Ann Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; and their son, Mark McAllister Jr.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
