YOUNGSTOWN - A funeral service will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Mrs. Margaret Ann Hutera, 76, who died peacefully, Monday morning at the Hospice House.
She was born Feb. 4, 1938, in Youngstown, a daughter of Arthur and Helen "Nell" Kane Trucksis.
Margaret was a member of St. Brendan Church, Youngstown, and had worked at the Austintown Kmart in the jewelry department for 20 years, retiring in 1999. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren, loved baking, especially cookies for weddings, and enjoyed bus trips. She will be fondly remembered as a hoarder of socks and a lover of Kleenex.
Margaret was married to Robert Andrew Hutera on July 28, 1962, and he died Nov. 7, 2000.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Karen Ann (Sam) Pallotta, Columbiana, Kathleen Ellen (Albin) Dearing of Poland, and Kristen Lee (Randy) Hamady of Austintown; brother Thomas (Joanne) Trucksis of Girard; beloved cousin, Ruth McQuiston of Poland; seven grandchildren, Samantha and Madelyn Pallotta, Ben, Noah and Gabriel Dearing, Evan and Kiley Hamady, and one "Angel in Heaven," Elena Joy Dearing. Margaret will also be remembered by her long-time friend, Carol Cole.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. till the time of service at the funeral home.
