BOARDMAN - A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, 3701 Starr's Center Drive, Canfield, for Margaret Halicki, 91, who was called home on March 27, 2014, while surrounded by her family.
Margaret was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Spin.
She was married on July 10, 1941, to the late Vincent Halicki, also of Youngstown.
Margaret will be remembered for her big smile, wittiness, and her beautiful heart.
She leaves behind her daughter, Janet Halicki; her grandchildren, Brett, Bryan, Brandon, Bradley, Brianne, Scott, and Tyler Ericsson, all of Boardman; and many friends whom she considered family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and John Spin; her husband Vincent; her sisters, Helen, Veronica, and Mary; brothers, John, Joe, Frank, and Mike; and her daughter, Margaret Ann Halicki.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to Vista Center of Boardman and All Caring Hospice for all their care and support in her final days.
