Jennie Kusmack

YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church for Jennie S. Kusmack, 92, who passed away Friday morning at her home.

Jennie was born March 29, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Vito and Annette (Penette) Savino.

Jennie was a mold operator for Packard Electric for 37 years, retiring in 1980. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Michael Kusmack, whom she married Jan. 17, 1942, passed away July 24, 1994.

Jennie leaves her two daughters, Sally Whittingham and Debra Bellatto, both of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Denise, Michelle, Debra, Daniel, Toni, and Casey; eight great-grandchildren, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Michael, Sophia, Abrianna, Cameron, Ashley, and Austin; and two sisters, Joann Elmo and Mary Ann Dunn, both of Youngstown.

Jennie was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Daniel Whittingham; two sisters, Angeline Melic and Theresa Henry; and four brothers, Anthony, James, Nicholas, and William Savino.

Family and friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
