A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 AM at St. Christine Church for Jean M. Latone, 89, of Youngstown, who passed away Saturday Sept. 24, 2016 at Compass Acute Rehab Center in Myrtle Beach, SC after a short illness.
Jean was born April 26, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Anthony and Concetta (Vendetti) Berardinelli.
She attended Immaculate Conception School and worked for Kayak Pools. She enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and her grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John P Latone Sr, whom she married Jan. 21, 1950; and son, John P Latone Jr.; and three brothers and six sisters.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Concetta "Collette" (Robert) Gorski; daughter-in-law, Kathy Donofrio Latone; a grandson, Taylor Gorski of Canfield; granddaughter, Nicole (Michael) Crockett of Austintown; a grandson, J.D. (Heather) Latone of Canfield; three great grandchildren, Christian, Mya, and Angelea; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Family and friends may call Friday 10AM to 10:45 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers material tributes may take the form of donations to assist with funeral expenses.
