Helen Wetzl

POLAND - Prayers will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon at the Holy Family Church for Helen McNally Wetzl, 91, who died early Sunday morning at Hospice House.
Helen was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Veronica Amons McNally.
She was a 1943 graduate of Ursuline High School. Helen was proud of her Irish heritage and Catholic religion.
Her husband, John Wetzl, whom she married Aug. 18, 1945, died in 1985.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Marion (James) Cleary of Canfield and Jean (John) Himes of Poland; a son, John (Theresa) Wetzl of McDonald; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, William, James and an infant son.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley and her caregiver and granddaughter, Moira Cleary.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
