AVON LAKE - Arlene A. Hamburg, 80, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, at her home.
Arlene was born May 7, 1937, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma (Rapp) Nickerson.
Arlene was a 1955 graduate of Hickory High School. She was a clerk for the Youngstown Public Library for 20 years.
Her husband, George Thomas, whom she married Aug. 3, 1963, passed away Nov. 7, 2015.
Arlene leaves her daughter, Sally (George) Weisbarth of Lakewood; two grandchildren, Emily Weisbarth and Jonathan Weisbarth; and a brother, Ronald (Karen) Nickerson of Chatham, Mass.
There will be a private ceremony at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
